ABOUT ScottScott is a private client advisor manager for Commerce Trust Company. Scott oversees the administrative policies and functions of the Private Client Advisory team. He also manages a set of team leaders in addition to handling his own key client relationships and provides leadership and management of the department, which includes coaching, training, reviewing revenue per desk and sales to help the team leaders and their advisors reach their goals.
The Private Client Advisory team serves as the relationship manager for clients and handles the opening, administration and closing of personal fiduciary accounts within Commerce Trust Company including advisory and agency accounts, irrevocable insurance trusts (ILITs), IRAs, trust accounts, and custody accounts.
Prior to joining Commerce Bank in 1998, Scott was a senior member of the St. Louis business advisory and valuation services group at Boatmen’s Trust Company/NationsBank and an accountant with Boatmen’s relocation management.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) and a Master of Arts in finance from Webster University. He is on the board of directors at the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments as well as a member of its Finance Committee.
