Prior to the market executive role, Paul was Chief Marketing Officer for Commerce Trust where he was responsible for the overall presentation of products and services, consumer awareness and advocacy, and driving brand preference. Responsibilities included consumer insights, campaigns, digital marketing, creative development, agency management, sponsorships, and media/employee communications.
Paul joined Commerce Bank in October 2016. Previously, he served as head of Partner Marketing at Wells Fargo Advisors, responsible for overall marketing strategy and operations. Prior to that, he worked for a St. Louis based marketing agency providing strategic planning for Fortune 100 consumer brands. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing and communications from the University of Missouri in St. Louis.
