ABOUT KarlyKarly is a private client advisor for Commerce Trust. She serves as a senior consultant and relationship manager providing clients with personalized objective advice and oversight across all of our services, including trust administration, financial advisory services, private banking, and investment management.
Karly facilitates all aspects of relationship management for the client team, including administering complex trusts, maintaining client communication, and coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver a superior client experience. She has knowledge of administration of revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, IRAs, conservatorships, decedent estates, and special needs trusts.
Prior to joining Commerce Trust, Karly worked as a staff attorney for the Jackson County public administrator’s office for five years, where she administered guardianship, conservatorship, and decedent estates. In that role, she was responsible for the management of the real property, personal property, and financial accounts of the conservatorship and decedent estates.
In 2003, Karly obtained a bachelor of science in marketing and a minor in Spanish degree from Iowa State University. She then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she received her juris doctor, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she
received her master of law in taxation degree. Karly was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2006 and the Kansas Bar in 2007. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
