Carson Baniak
Senior Portfolio Manager Associate
Carson is a Senior Portfolio Manager Associate with Commerce Trust. Upon gaining a thorough understanding of a client’s needs and goals as well as assessing the client’s entire financial situation, he works with our investment research team to construct a portfolio to help clients achieve their long-term goals. With a deep knowledge of the market and experience in investment management, he serves clients with thought leadership, insight, and consulting services.
Carson joined Commerce Bank in June of 2021 as an Ascend bank trainee. In September of 2022, he made the transition to Commerce Trust to work with their wealth management team as a portfolio manager associate. Carson received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and banking, as well as a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Missouri Columbia. In addition, he is currently pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.
