Commerce Trust Names Jacquie Gabbidon Texas Market Executive
Kansas City, Mo. – January 19, 2023 – Jacqueline F. Gabbidon has joined Commerce Trust, a division of Commerce Bank, as senior vice president and market executive for Texas. In this role she will be responsible for growing the company’s presence in Dallas and Houston, two key expansion markets, as well as building the service teams to address the financial needs of current and potential clients in the state.
With more than 20 years of experience in wealth management and trust services, Jacquie comes to Commerce Trust after 16 years at Northern Trust, where she most recently served as senior fiduciary officer, overseeing the trust and fiduciary administration for the Dallas office. In addition, she managed the firm’s Private Client Services business. Jacquie also practiced law with specialization in estate planning, trusts, probate and estate administration and corporate planning.

Commerce Trust becomes the second Commerce Bank division to establish a presence in Texas. The Commercial division has operated in Dallas since 2012 and now is also in Houston. “Jacquie’s extensive experience in wealth management and trust services will be a great complement to our existing commercial presence in Texas,” said Chris Holder, Dallas market president.
Jacquie earned a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws (in taxation) from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designee from the Investments & Wealth Institute and holds an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) certification from the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
Actively involved in the community, Jacquie serves on the board of directors for the Dallas Tennis Association, which through its philanthropic arm, the Dallas Tennis and Education Academy, promotes education and life skills to under-resourced youth in the greater Dallas area through the sport of tennis.
