ABOUT Bruce

Bruce is the director of risk management at Commerce Trust. He has more than 30 years of experience in the trust and investment management business in both legal and leadership roles.

Bruce is responsible for managing the risks, supporting the governance practices and maintaining effective controls in the company’s private client, institutional and investment management businesses. 

Bruce graduated from St. Olaf College in 1979 and received his juris doctorate from Washington University School of Law in 1983. In 2004, Bruce earned the right to use to the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of St. Louis.
