ABOUT KennethKenneth is a private client advisor for the Commerce Trust Company. He serves as a senior consultant and relationship manager providing clients with personalized objective advice and oversight across all of our services, including trust administration, financial advisory services, private banking, and investment management.
Kenneth facilitates all aspects of relationship management for the client team, including administering complex trusts, maintaining client communication, and coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver a superior client experience. Prior to joining Commerce, Kenneth practiced law and his areas of practice were in estate planning, estate administration, real estate transactions, business organizations, and litigation. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in English from Northern Illinois University and a juris doctor, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Kenneth was the recipient of Peoria’s InterBusiness Issues “40 Leaders Under Forty” award as recognition for his dedicated service to his community. In 2010, Kenneth was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the United States Army Reserves. Furthermore, Kenneth was on the board of directors of the Peoria Ballet Company from 2009 to 2014, including serving as its president. Kenneth was also on the board of directors of the Peoria County Bar Association in 2010 and was the Chairman of the Young Lawyers Committee in 2011. Kenneth served on the Peoria County Veterans Memorial Committee. He is currently a local board member of the Selective Service System.
